This feature mutes the deck until you press a Hot Cue.

When Silent Cue is turned on, you can silently cue a track with the channel fader raised and the crossfader open on your mixer. Then, press a Hot Cue to drop the track into your mix without needing to touch the faders. Also, if you're using turntables with rekordbox dvs or Serato DVS, and Silent Cue is turned on, the music will start at the correct BPM when you press play on a stopped deck - you won't hear the music gradually speeding up as the deck works up to full speed.
