If the illumination is blinking even though Merge FX isn't working, Merge FX might not have turned off properly the last time you used the feature.

Follow the instructions below to turn off Merge FX.

1. Press the [MERGE FX] knob.
2. Turn Merge FX off in any of the following ways:

• Press the [PLAY/PAUSE] button.
• Press a Performance Pad while the unit is in Hot Cue mode.
• Press the [MERGE FX] select button.
• Press the [CUE] button during cue standby.
• Touch the jog wheel.

If the blinking continues, disconnect the USB cable, wait a while, then reconnect the USB cable.
