Reset sound settings.
(1) Connect DDJ-1000 to your computer and turn it power on.
Go [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] and click [Sound]
(2) If PIONEER DDJ-1000 has been "Default Device", go to 3.
(3) Choose a sound device other than PIONEER DDJ-1000 and click "Set as Default Device".
Close the window by clicking "OK".
(4) Close the control panel and restart your computer.
[Mac]
Reload Audio MIDI settings.
(1) Connect DDJ-1000 to your computer and turn it power on.
(2) Open [Applications] folder, [Utilities] folder and [Audio MIDI Setup.app].
(3) Open [Audio Device] window. Confirm that [Audio MIDI Setup] windows pops up.
Click [Window] and choose [Show MIDI Window].
(4) [MIDI Studio] window opens up, click [PIONEER DDJ-1000] icon. The icon turns to blue color, click [Remove Device].
"PIONEER DDJ-1000" icon disappears and comes back again.
(5) Close [Audio MIDI Setup] and turn DDJ-1000 power off.
(6) Turn DDJ-1000 power on and run rekordbox.
- Is “MIDI controller setting” of DDJ-1000 set to “Forcefully using the unit as the general MIDI controller”?
Enter the utilities mode, and press the “SLIP REVERSE” button on the left deck to turn it off if the button lights. For details, see “Changing the settings” in Operating Instructions.
