SD cards & USB storage devices

The USB devices (flash memory drives and hard disks) is not recognized.

  1. There is a possibility that you are using a USB device that consumes high current (such as flash memory or a hard disk) (Warning is displayed on the main unit display if electric current more than the permissible amount flows to the USB device). Use a USB device rated lower than the rating of the unit (5V/2.1A). Alternatively, use a hard disk to which power can be externally supplied through an AC adapter.
  2. The unit does not support this format. Format the USB device using FAT32, FAT, or HFS+.
  3. The Mac OS standard format of the GUID partition map is not supported.
  4. If a USB device is formatted with the Mac Extended format where Case Sensitivity is set, the unit may not recognize the device properly.
  5. Some USB devices are not recognized, but this problem can be resolved by updating the unit.
