Can tracks managed with iTunes be input to this unit's USB sound card (audio interface)?

Yes. When DDJ-RX and the computer are connected and a track is played in iTunes, the played sound is input to channel 1 of DDJ-RX. It cannot be input to other channels. In this case, however, the volume cannot be changed even by operating a trim control or fader on the DDJ-RX. (The channel level meter also does not light.)
When you listen to the played sound with headphones, turn the [HEADPHONES MIX] control fully clockwise and then press the [MASTER CUE] button and adjust the [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control to an appropriate position.
Also, a file containing DRM data cannot be played.
If sound is not input even when the above operation is performed, do the following.
Windows 7
Display the [Run] dialog box from [Start Menu], enter [mmsys.cpl], and click [OK]. The [Sound] window opens. Select [DDJ-RX] on the [Playback] tab.
*This cannot be used simultaneously with the ASIO driver.
Windows 8 and 8.1
Select [Run] from [Apps View], enter [mmsys.cpl], and click [OK]. The [Sound] window opens. Select [ DDJ-RX] on the [Playback] tab.
*This cannot be used simultaneously with the ASIO driver.
Windows 10
Right-click the Start button, select [Run], enter [mmsys.cpl], and click [OK]. The [Sound] window opens. Select [ DDJ-RX] on the [Playback] tab.
*This cannot be used simultaneously with the ASIO driver.
Mac OS
In [Select a device for sound output] on the [Output] tab in [Sound] of [System Preferences], select [DDJ-RX] from the sound devices. DDJ-RX’s input channel can be changed by selecting " DDJ-RX" in [Audio MIDI Setup] of [Applications] > [Utilities] and then using the [Configure Speakers] dialog box.
