There are six possible causes.
1. Is the [CD/LINE, PHONO, USB] selector switch set to the proper position?
Use the [CD/LINE, PHONO, USB] selector switch to switch the channel's input source.
2. Are the connection cables properly connected? Connect the connection cables properly. For details, see "Connecting to input terminals" and/or "Connecting to output terminals" in the operating instructions.
3. Is [MASTER LEVEL] set to the proper position? Adjust [MASTER LEVEL] so that the master level indicator’s orange indicator lights at the peak level.
4. Is [TRIM] set to the proper position? Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
5. Are the terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before connecting.
6. Is [MASTER ATT] set to [-6 dB], etc.? In utilities mode, switch [MASTER ATT]. For details, see "Changing settings" in the operating instructions.
