1. Perform the following checks.
[Windows]
Reset sound settings.
(1) Connect DDJ-RZX to your computer and turn it power on.
Go [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] and click [Sound]

(2) If PIONEER DDJ-RZX has been "Default Device", go to 3.

(3) Choose other sound device rather than PIONEER DDJ-RZX and click "Set as Default Device". Close the window by clicking "OK".

(4) Close the control panel and restart your computer.
[Mac]
Reload Audio MIDI settings.
(1) Connect DDJ-RZX to your computer and turn it power on.
(2) Open [Applications] folder, [Utilities] folder and [Audio MIDI Setup.app].
(3) Open [Audio Device] window. Confirm that [Audio MIDI Setup] windows pops up. Click [Window] and choose [Show MIDI Window].

(4) [MIDI Studio] window opens up, click [PIONEER DDJ-RZX] icon. The icon turns to blue colour, click [Remove Device]. "PIONEER DDJ-RZX" icon disappears and comes back again.

(5) Close [Audio MIDI Setup] and turn DDJ-RZX power off.
(6) Turn DDJ-RZX power on and run DJ Application.
2. Is the DDJ-RZX MIDI MODE set to “GENERAL?”
Enter Utility Mode, and if MIDI MODE is set to “GENERAL,” change to “AUTO.” For details, please see “Changing settings” in the user manual.
