There are two possible causes.
1. Is [MASTER LEVEL] set to the proper position? Adjust [MASTER LEVEL] so that the master level indicator lights up to the orange indicator at the peak level.
2. Is [TRIM] set to the proper position? Adjust [TRIM] so that the channel level indicator lights up to the orange indicator at the peak level.
If the sound is distorted even after the input/output level has been adjusted, the level may exceed the power amplifier's maximum allowable input level. Turn the level down to an appropriate level using [MASTER ATT] on the rear panel. The level can be attenuated by 50% at -6 dB, by 70% at -3 dB. This setting does not affect the master level indicator.
