The driver software must be installed before outputting sound from the computer to the DJM-5000.

Install the driver software using the included driver installation disc. Once installation is completed, restart the computer.

Check the driver software's version (page 11 of the operating instructions). If the version window is not properly displayed or the version itself is not properly displayed, installation has not completed properly. Reinstall the driver software on the computer.

The DJM-5000 may not be properly recognized. Close the DJ application and disconnect the USB cable, then start the DJ application back up.
