There are four possible causes.

1. Is the power [ON/OFF] switch set to [ON]? Set the power [ON/OFF] switch to [ON].

2. Is the included USB cable properly connected? Properly connect the included USB cable.

3. Is the driver software installed? For instructions on installing the driver software, see “Installing the software” in the operating instructions.

4. There is a limit to the number of devices that can be connected simultaneously in Windows (ex.: 5 for Windows XP Home, 20 for Windows 7, etc.). If this limit is exceeded, devices will not be recognized even if the driver software is properly installed. If this unit is not recognized by the computer, disconnect any devices that are not being used.
