While emulating the advanced sound quality design of the club-oriented DJM-900NXS2 DJ mixer, we are committed to the adoption of top-of-the-line parts and finer tuning of sound quality. A professional digital sound output AES/EBU port enabled transmission of the highest quality sound without degrading it even in large-scale venues.
-AES/EBU output port
The DJM-TOUR1 features a business-use digital sound output AES/EBU port that uses a balanced transmission method and is therefore resistant to noise, and is suited to long-distance transmission in large-scale venues.
Also an input port specifically for the word clock from an external high-resolution clock generator realizes highly precise synchronization of multiple digital audio systems from the audio source to the mixing console.
Furthermore, like the DJM-900NXS2, the DJM-TOUR1 features an SPD I/F port and USB-B port for digital sound input supporting 96kHz 24bit high-resolution sound sources.
This makes it possible to deliver digital sound from the directly to the Front Of House digital mixing console with little drop in sound quality even in large-scale venues when playing music from digital sound sources.
-Studio quality DPS processing
The DJM-TOUR1 adopts studio quality 96kHz/64bit mixing and dithering in its DSP, which produces a high-density, lively sound with higher resolution and wider range than has been possible to date. A newly developed audio power source has also made it possible to achieve powerful playback with low frequencies that have real presence.
-Separate power supply
Separate Power Supplies with Dual Trans are adopted to independently supply digital processing and analog audio. PFC (Power factor correction) reduces noise and distortion across a wide dynamic range. Affluent power supply realizes powerful playback with presence down to low frequencies.
-World-leading high-performance DA converter
The analog side features the ES9018 32bit D/A converter manufactured by ESS Technology, which has incredibly low levels of noise and distortion with a wide dynamic range of 129dB, ensuring that playback is faithful to the original sound sources.
