A "control disc" is something used with other brands of DJ software, and is provided together with the software. It can be used to control current CDJs as well. (The signals of the special disc are input to the computer via a special box.)

With the CDJ-2000, the player is connected directly to the computer, so there is no need to use any special control CD.
